The export file does not contain the display image for the widget or any uploaded files associated with the widget.
HTML widgets can be exported and shared with other libraries or consortia. When you export a widget, all of the information for that widget is contained in a file that can be sent to another library easily and then imported into their system.
To export an HTML widget
| 1 | Log in to the Admin console. |
| 2 | Choose Displays from the navigation pane. |
| 3 | Choose HTML Widgets from the menu. |
| 4 | Select the Export HTML Widget option for the widget you want to export. |
A file is downloaded that contains all the information for the widget and can be uploaded to other instances of Enterprise. For more information, see Importing an HTML widget.
